Our minor hockey association is in need of your help. We do not have an active Fundraising Chairperson at this time. This job is essential in helping us keep costs down to families who have children that play hockey. Our association's costs keep rising, and the only way we can mitigate the rising costs is to raise our registration fees...UNLESS, WE RAISE FUNDS!! Please read on...
The Fundraising Chair responsibilities is as follows...
- The Fundraising Chair shall:
- Organize Fundraising Activities;
- be responsible for collecting written requests from individual teams and approving all draws and raffles carried on in the name of the Association;
- be a member of the budget committee;
- be bonded;
- all money transactions must be handled in conjunction with the Treasurer upon completion of each various project as per Article 14.4 of the constitution;
- work with the Tournament Convenors and shall be responsible for collecting team fundraising financial statements following home tournaments and any fundraising activities throughout the season;
- attend monthly meetings of the Executive.
