SLMHA Registration

Registration Instructions

Registration is done through Hockey Canada Registration (HCR 3.0) The program is very user-friendly. If you get stuck at any time during the process, the link below provides step-by-step instructions for how to register, including how to to recover an account or how to reset a password. HCR Registration Support

When you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from Hockey Canada. If you do not receive this email, your child is not registered!

We are asking that all players be registered by August 10, 2022 so we can begin planning for the season. A late fee of $200 per family will be applied to all registrations received after August 10.

Rep Team Fees/Tryouts

You will be asked to indicate your child’s intention to try out for a SLMHA rep team during the registration process. A $50 rep team fee will be added to the cost of registration. This fee will be credited to your account if your child does not make the rep team. A tryout fee of $40 will be collected at the first tryout.

Credits from the 2021-2022 Season

The 2021-2022 season was impacted by a shutdown due to Covid-19. Credits will be applied to the accounts of all 2021-2022 players as soon as OMHA issues its credit memo and we can determine the amount of the credit for each level of hockey. You will receive notification of the credit amount, and can then deduct it from your registration fee before submitting the final payment.

Payment Information

A $100 deposit (per player) must be submitted at time of registration. This deposit is nonrefundable should you choose to withdraw from SLMHA.

Please submit all remaining payments by e-transfer to [email protected] by September 1, 2022. Include your child’s name in the message section of the e-transfer so payment can be applied to the correct account.

You are welcome to make monthly installment payments (up to 5 payments maximum). If making installment payments, half of the registration amount is due by July 30, 2022, and the final payment must be made by September 1, 2022.

If you wish to pay using post-dated cheques, please see our treasurer, Tara Wright, at the April 28 banquet at the Fenelon arena.

Multiplayer Discount

A discount of $200 will be applied to families with two players at any level.

A discount of $300 will be applied to families with three players at any level.

A discount of $400 will be applied to families with four or more players at any level.

Registration Fees for 2022-2023

Our rates have not changed since the 2019-2020 season, and the association has always worked hard to keep registration fees as low as possible. However, with increasing ice rental and referee rates, and the elimination of gate fees by OMHA (gate fees have heavily subsidized the cost of referees in the past), we are faced with no choice but to increase registration fees for the 2022-2023 season. Please see the Registration Cost FAQ for more information about how registration fees are used.
