Important message from SLMHA
Submitted By Dean Michel on Friday, December 24, 2021
With Christmas just around the corner, we face many unknowns going into the New Year. Due to the increased amount of COVID cases within the area,  Sturgeon Lake Minor Hockey Association has made the difficult decision to suspend all hockey from December 24, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

This decision was made in the interest of player, coach, parent, and family safety.
All practices, league games, tournaments, and team functions will/should not occur during this time.
The timing to implement this is at the least disruptive time as there are no games scheduled and family safety is of utmost importance.
We will keep you updated based on guidelines provided by the local health unit and government as they come available.

The calendar will be updated to reflect all changes and make sure all members are notified.
Please advise anyone you speak with to make sure the word gets out.

Lastly, the executive of Sturgeon Lake Minor Hockey Association would like to wish all of you Happy Holidays and see you all in the New Year!
