Plenty of stick taps are in order for five Thunder teams: U11Red, U8Black, U11Rep, U13Rep and U7Orange for collecting and donating 6,544 pounds of food for the Kawartha Lakes Food Source (KLFS).
The teams participated in the KL Hockey Tournament Giveaway Challenge in support of local food banks.
From all participating leagues, the KLFS received almost 28,000 pounds of food.
